Windows XP Start Menu.

The Start Menu format in XP is much different than the Start Menu from earlier versions of Windows.  If you prefer the non-XP version, you can use it.

In the Task Bar at the bottom of the desktop, right mouse click and select Properties.  Click on the Start Menu tab:

The XP-version of the Start Menu is displayed in the example window.  Click "Classic Start menu" and the older version example will appear:
