Issue/Symptom:
With KI Systems Law Office
Automation Tools and Acrobat 7.0 (Standard or Professional) installed, on
Close of Word an application error appears. The next time you open Word, you
are asked to disable the _KI - Global.dot. If Yes is selected, the KI
toolbar and macro/template functionality is lost.
There is a conflict in the unload process of the Acrobat Addin which
prevents our addin from completely unloading. This error occurs only when
Word's Reviewing Toolbar is open. Part of the Adobe 7.0 addin integrates
with the Comment button on Word's Reviewing Toolbar and may not be dismissed
correcly at the application is shutting down. At this point, the error
occurs and our addin is flagged as not loading/unloading correctly.
Error Message:
None.
Resolution:
1. Have users verify that
Word's Reviewing Toolbar is not active before closing Word. To de-active
the toolbar, select the View menu, Toolbars and un-check Reviewing
Toolbar - Or from the Acrobat Comments menu, un-check Reviewing Toolbar.

2. Contact KI Systems for
programmatic solutions to automatically closing Word's Reviewing Toolbar
as the application is closed.
