Metadata Tool 2003 Patch 1

Description:

Patch 1 includes corrections to the following feature of the Metadata Tool 2003:

1.  Corrects Custom Document Property removal where individual items are selected; and
2.  Corrects Custom Document Property removal where all is selected and additional KI Custom Properties are included in the document to be cleaned.

Issue/Symptom:

Patch updates provides the above processing correction and the enhancements listed above.

For Windows 2003, Windows 2000 and Windows NT client's:

Download the Metadata Tool 2003 Patch

To install the Patch, you must remove the current Metadata Tool 2003 installation and re-install the using the KIMDSetup2003.exe included in the zip file:

Note:  Removing the current Metadata Tool 2003 installation will remove any custom settings the user has created. The new install will contain only our default metadata settings.

1. Close all Microsoft Office applications.

2. From Add/Remove programs remove the current installation of the Metadata Tool software.

3. Re-install the Metadata Tool software using the KIMDSetup2003.exe from the zip file.  (The License Key Code for your product is the same and may be located in the KI Metadata Tool Serial Number.txt file which is included in the zip file.  You may also call KI Systems to obtain your License Key Code.)

4. Open Microsoft Word or Outlook and the updated Metadata Tool 2003 will appear.
